Trig found a friend at a restaurant

The last few weeks have flown by as expected.  There are many things swirling through our minds as we get ready to head home.  We don’t know what to expect or how we will deal with the reverse culture shock and all that goes with moving.  There are so many things that did not go as expected this past year and so many people we will greatly miss. On the flip side, I think we all are fearful of the coming winter in Alaska and Colorado. It’s a difficult time for the Dolge Hut and we are grateful for your continued support and prayers.  It’s hard to know what to say here, but we look forward to sharing with you all once we’re back home.  We will be back in Alaska at the end of September for one month.  Hopefully there will be time to do some visiting.  We’ll get a fire in the old trailer and be there for October.  Then we will spend a few months in Colorado where Troy will be able to finish the video editing for NH.  There is still many hours of editing ahead.  All the stock footage for New Hope will be produced.  At the end of March we will be moving back to Alaska-at least that’s the plan.

Last fried tilapia, so good.

Saying goodbye is always difficult, especially with the kids we have called family here.  There have been many tears, sad hearts and “lasts” these days. Please continue to pray for us all as we get on the plane in a little over a week.  There are three long flights ahead and, with Trigger’s growing attitude, we are all a little scared!
